For the very first time in San Francisco, an Spanish version of "The Vagina Monologues", a truly historic event. For me personally, it was one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life of community activism. All of the proceeds were donated, half to "Casa de Las Madres" In San Francisco and half to "Casa Amiga" In Ciudad Juarez, Mex. - Both of these organization render material and legal support to women for a 'way out' of domestic violence situations, in many, many cases, children are also present.
